Angle Broom Attachment
Sweep a clean path easily and efficiently with the hydraulically-driven angle broom attachment. Clear away dirt, dried mud, light snow and other debris from driveways, sidewalks, parking lots, loading docks, warehouses and more. And quick removal jobs can be done without damaging pavement surfaces.
The broom bristles have a waved designed, delivering more surface clearing ability which can clear a cleaner path and can clear more snow or debris in one pass. And the top of the attachment is designed with plastic, delivering a lightweight attachment for better operation. The angle broom attachment is compact, maneuverable and easy to operate, replacing manual labor and hand brooms. Clean small and large areas with less effort and in less time.
How Does It Work?
The angle broom attachment uses a hydraulically-driven, rotating broom that pushes dirt and other debris away from the machine. The two larger angle broom models have 25 degrees of angle to the left or right. The smaller model has 30 degrees of angle to the left or right and also has a 3-position manual angle.
Angle Broom Features:
- Compact Design: Designed for maximum efficiency in operation, the angle broom attachment is compact and highly maneuverable.
- Easy Maintenance: Quick-change rotor design makes bristle replacement quick and easy. By simply removing two bolts, the entire rotor is released.
- Electric Angle Control: For easy debris removal, electric controls allows for simple adjustments, to increase or decrease the down force of the broom angle.
- Fingertip Controls: Precise attachment control helps to finish the job quickly and efficiently, without having to leave the comfort of the cab.
- Flush Sweeping: Get as close as you want! Improved sweeping efficiency allows for flush sweeping to a curb or wall.
- High-Torque Motor: With heavier materials and debris, the high-torque motor allows for maximum power for more efficient sweeping.
- Storage Stand: Provides maximum uptime protection by eliminating bristle distortion when the broom is not in use.
Operating Tips:
- Completely lower the loader's lift arms and engage the hydraulics into detent position. Slowly tilt the broom until the bristles make contact with the surface. Apply a small amount of downward force to the broom by tilting forward slightly. Move the loader forward and the broom will sweep debris away from the front of the loader.
- Use the left paddle to change the broom angle.
- Inspect bristles on a regular basis. If bristles wear down to the core, they won't be able to sweep properly.
- One of the most common ways operators misuse the broom attachment is by applying too much downward force. Operators often think the harder the bristles are pressed down, the better they will sweep. However, if you reduce the amount of downward pressure on the bristles, the angle broom attachment will actually sweep more effectively and with less wear to the broom.
