Days of Community Service

At the heart of the Doosan Way is the idea that being a good corporate citizen is an ongoing responsibility. During annual Days of Community Service, Doosan employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents to projects in the communities where they work and live.

Employees participate in a variety of tasks that include working at local food banks, schools and medical facilities; interior painting and cleanup at community centers and food pantries; holding used book drives at local libraries; and performing construction tasks at community recreational facilities and homeless shelters.

In the first of three Days of Community Service in 2015, close to 800 Doosan and Bobcat employees were involved in North America alone. Additional community service days take place in June and September.

United Way

Bobcat has enjoyed a long partnership with the United Way. The company is proud to join with local community United Way organizations in their quest to make the communities better places to live, work and raise families through charitable giving and volunteer efforts.

Disaster Relief

Dating back 50 years to Hurricane Betsy that struck the Gulf in 1965, Bobcat equipment has been on the scene helping communities recover from natural disasters. Today, when you see a news story involving disaster recovery, more often than not you will also see a familiar white loader on the scene. Although Bobcat Company cannot be everywhere disaster happens — the owners, operators and dealers of Bobcat equipment are there. We are proud to support them in every way we can.
