Bobcat Company has always found that contests are a great way to connect with customers — to gather stories about how those customers use Bobcat® equipment to build successful businesses; how important Bobcat equipment has been to them; what they’re doing with their machine every day; the relationship they have with Bobcat and their local dealer. Watch the videos for more detail about past events like the 2014 Millionth Loader giveaway and the company’s commitment to conservation through the Bobcat Create & Conserve® project.

Nestled into the mountains near the fast-flowing Upper Pack River, John Oxley's property in Sandpoint, ID, is picturesque. It's the perfect location for hiking and wildlife viewing, but riverbank erosion has made it difficult to establish trails and viewing areas. That changed when Bobcat Company and "Beyond the Hunt" stopped by to help out.
A rustic cabin is the ideal place for Keith Fortin to call home. Over the years, he has slowly transformed his mountainside property just outside Whitehall, MT into the sustainable wildlife habitat he’s always wanted. Living in the country, conserving land and raising a family are what Jay and Samantha Prier always planned to do. They took steps to selectively purchase their dream property, built a home — doing much of the work themselves — and made a to-do list of outdoor projects.
Anticipating major production “milestones” in 2008 and 2014, Bobcat engaged customers in the months leading to the actual celebration events. The theme “Unleashed” was chosen to celebrate the 50th Anniversary and 750,000th loader milestone in 2008. Just six years later, “Unstoppable” was the theme for the celebration of the 1,000,000th loader.
In 2014, Bobcat created a campaign called “Unstoppable,” inviting Bobcat owners and operators to describe how Bobcat equipment makes them unstoppable. Among the 10,000+ entries was one very special essay by Steve Klumker, whose family has been using Bobcat equipment for some 40 years. Watch the heart-warming video featuring the contest winner.
In 2008, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of our first loader and also built our 750,000th loader. It seemed fitting to have a contest with the theme, “How Bobcat Unleashed Me.” The winner, Gregory Stone of New York, won a commemorative edition S205 Bobcat skid-steer loader, and his story was featured in the celebration video.
