Doosan Days of Community Service Participants

(FARGO, N.D. — June 2015) Bobcat Company and Doosan employees recently participated in the participated in the “Doosan Day of Community Service” — a company-wide volunteer effort that celebrates ongoing partnerships with communities in North America where Doosan and Bobcat Company do business. This is the second of three 2015 community service days. The last service day will take place in September.

Employees volunteered for projects that included helping various non-profit organizations; working with local food banks, schools and medical facilities; cleaning sections of highways and performing landscaping and construction work at parks, zoos, camps and community recreational facilities. In all, over 350 Doosan and Bobcat employees in the North American region were involved in the volunteer efforts.

National projects and participation were organized by Doosan and Bobcat facility locations in and around Bismarck, Gwinner, Fargo and Wahpeton, North Dakota; Suwanee, Georgia; and Litchfield, Minnesota.

The event placed a large emphasis on the “Doosan Way” — an organizational principle that links all Doosan employees’ values to a management system focused on community and social responsibility that can be incorporated into their daily lives. At the heart of the Doosan Way is the idea that being a good corporate citizen is an ongoing responsibility. Bobcat Company has long believed that the organization and its employees should support the environments, communities and partnerships that contribute to the company’s and the community’s success.

“We are so proud that our employees are eager to take part in these community service projects,” said Laura Ness Owens, Bobcat Company director of communication. “We all take great pride in doing what we can to help out our communities.”
