Reach farther and dig deeper with the 324 compact excavators. Its 8 ft. 6 in. dig depth and 14 ft. reach deliver serious digging possibilities in tight areas, with minimal repositioning. Hydraulically retract the undercarriage to only 39 inches to travel through gates or between homes, and then expand to 54 inches for a wider footprint and greater performance. Equipped with the same hydraulic system as a larger Bobcat excavator, the 324 has impressive cycle times and break-out forces to complete jobs faster. The system’s torque-limiting piston pump is able to sense and react to hydraulic loads, for better utilization of the engine’s torque curve.

Retractable Blade: No tools are needed for storing the blade extensions. Simply remove the retention pins with the keeper key and store directly on the blade structure.

Canopy: This is a very unique feature for the 324. The canopy optimizes visibility while working in tight areas, reduces unnecessary weight while crossing across lawns, and is ROPS and TOPS certified. An enclosed cab feature is also available.

Climate Control: Work in comfort with air movement, temperature control and greater flexibility in directing air.

Large Operator Platform: Wide, spacious operator compartment for easy entry and access; this feature accommodates even the largest of operators.

Soft Grip Joysticks: “Soft grip” pilot control joysticks.

Convenient Gauges: Fuel and Engine Coolant Temperature Gauges are conveniently located to apprise the operator.

Glow Plug Cold Start Assist: Glow Plug Cold Start Assist helps to warm the fuel mixture within the engine when it’s started in a cooler temperature for longer engine and starter life.

Protected Workgroup Hoses: Routed through the inside of the workgroup for minimal wear and tear.

Top-Mounted Boom Cylinder: Protects from impact in the trench and from jobsite surroundings.

Grease Bank: Provides centralized grease access for the slew bearing, slew pinion and swing cylinder.

Grease Cylinder Fitting: Offers easy track tensioning.

Valve & Battery Access: The control valve and battery is located below the seat pan which gives its operator immediate access. An ISO/Std valve is conveniently located within the operator’s reach. A storage “tray” is also in the cab directly below the seat to store any small hand tools, paperwork, etc.
