What controls are right for you?
Skid Steer and Compact Track Loader Controls
Bobcat Standard Controls
We invented this style nearly 50 years ago, and it's still one of the most popular styles today.
Advanced Control System (ACS)
H-Pattern Mode
In the H-Pattern mode the left joystick controls left side drive and lift functions and the right joystick controls right side drive and tilt functions as well as auxiliary hydraulics
Selectable Joystick Controls (SJC)
It's all in the hands...These low-effort joysticks allow the operator to control all machine functions with their hands. This state of the art system is also loaded with exclusive features:- Speed Management - Allows operator to match travel speed to operation requirements for optimizing attachment performance and even more precise control of machine movements in tight areas.
- Horsepower Management - Automatically adjusts the drive system to maximize pushing and digging power without stalling the engine.
- Foot Throttle - Since the feet are free of controls with SJC, a convenient foot throttle is provided to increase engine speed when needed.
- Fingertip Switches are integrated into the handles to easily control various machine functions. Control attachment functions, speed management, horn and blinkers without the need to let go of the joysticks.
- Selectable Control Pattern - Can select ISO or H-Pattern hand controls at the flip of a switch to satisfy different operators.
NEW! Loader Radio Remote Control System
All-Wheel Steer Loader Controls
Joystick controls including Speed Management and foot throttle come standard with all-wheel steer loaders. Two different steering modes to match your job. Go from 4-wheel steer to skid steer mode at the flip of a switch!- Mode Switch - A dash panel switch allows you to change steering modes quickly.
- Left Joystick - controls loader drive functions and speed selection.
- Right Joystick - controls lift / tilt functions and auxiliary hydraulics.
All-Wheel Steer "C" Pattern
The all-wheel steer mode uses a "C" control pattern. When in all-wheel steer mode, push the left joystick forward and the loader will drive forward. Pull the joystick back, and the loader will travel backwards. To turn left while driving forward, push the joystick forward and to the left. To turn right, push forward and to the right. To turn left in reverse, pull the joystick back and to the left. To turn right in reverse, pull back and to the right.Skid Steer "S" Pattern
The skid steer mode uses a "S" control pattern. When in skid steer mode, push the left joystick forward and the loader will drive forward. Pull the joystick back, and the loader will travel backwards. To turn left while driving forward, push the joystick forward and to the left. To turn right, push forward and to the right. To turn left in reverse, pull the joystick back and to the right. To turn right in reverse, pull back and to the left.Speed Management
Bobcat provides the only loaders in the industry with Speed Management. By matching travel speed to your operation requirements, it maximizes attachment performance and gives you even moreprecise control of machine movements. Speed Management provides the following benefits when running many attachments:
- Allows you to “dial in” your required travel speed in small increments from 0 to 7 mph.
- Increased daily production by reducing the chance of stalling the machine.
- Better fuel consumption as you complete more work in less time.
- Easier attachment hookup.
- Optimal productivity for attachments that require a slow travel speed.
- Speed Management is available on Bobcat all-wheel steer loaders standard as well as compact track loaders and skid steer loaders equipped with Selectable Joystick Controls
