Business Systems Co-op
We are currently looking for students to participate in our Business Systems co-op program. You’ve spent a great deal of time in the classroom learning about business and technology. Now we’re giving you a chance to put that learning into practice. With a Bobcat co-op, you'll learn solid business practices from some of the best Business and IT professionals in the industry. You'll have a hand in supporting employee IT needs and/or assisting in troubleshooting, testing, and documenting of issues found by users right alongside Bobcat employees. But as much as we have to offer you, we always welcome your fresh new ideas and create an atmosphere in which you can share them.
DESCRIPTION
Your co-op may provide hands-on work in:
Maintain and update training material with a focus on the Oracle eBusiness application suite in use at Bobcat Company and DII
Participate in, and co-lead formal training activity targeted towards the end user community
Assist Oracle functional leads in all aspects of implementation and system support, including testing, troubleshooting and documenting of issues found by users
Work with Oracle functional leads in areas of Order Management, Planning, Procurement, and Manufacturing
Apply knowledge of system capability to support global lean manufacturing and just-in-time initiatives
Apply knowledge of system capability and best practices to support all aspects of Bobcat's global supply chain and manufacturing processes
REQUIREMENTS
Jr. or Sr. standing seeking a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems.
Strong background in Microsoft Suites, Windows XP and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
SQL and technical support skills are beneficial.
Excellent communications skills and high level of motivation.
Commitment to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op.
