Competitive Marketing Co-op
You’ve spent a great deal of time in the classroom learning about marketing concepts. Now we’re giving you a chance to put that learning into practice. With a Bobcat co-op, you’ll learn solid business practices from some of the best in the industry. You’ll have a hand in planning and executing market research and communications projects right alongside Bobcat’s marketing professionals.
Your co-op may provide hands-on work in:
Market research projects which involve identifying appropriate data sources, collecting and analyzing that data, then preparing and presenting recommendations
Perform market and competitive analysis where you will analyze and interpret large data sets, as well as create information and knowledge from the data. Turn market data into market intelligence that will be the foundation to making key business decisions.
Research key industry issues, challenges, trends, topics, and competitive landscape to support development of marketing plans, solutions and strategies
Launch a new project and develop a plan, from start to finish, resulting in a corporate decision based on the findings.
Provide support for special marketing projects and tasks as assigned.
To be considered you should have:
Previous data analysis or strong analytical skills are desired.
Strong communication skills, including presenting to a group.
The ability to work independently with limited supervision as well as the skills to work within a team.
Vision to identify problems and provide creative solutions.
The ability to receive direction and communicate suggestions for improvement.
Ability to adapt to working in a corporate setting.
Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Commitment to Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op.
