Product Engineering Co-op
We are currently seeking Product Engineering co-op employees. Our design, prototype and test capabilities are state-of-the-art. In fact, few facilities in the world can match the variety of our prototyping and testing. As a result, most of our work will involve hydraulics, electronics, measurements, programming, automating and/or designing systems.
DESCRIPTION
Product Improvement / Development
Develop tests to evaluate functionality and performance.
Determine and test the necessary components.
Determine loads / conditions to be applied (voltage, temperature, vibration, etc.)
Determine physical parameters and monitoring methods.
Operate machines or simulators under controlled conditions.
Record and analyze data.
Long-Term Testing
Build or rework prototypes as design changes are made.
Set up and operate a structural fatigue test.
Conduct specifications testing on a working model.
Record and analyze data.

REQUIREMENTS
Education Standard: Pursuing Bachelors, Jr. or Sr. standing
Education Type: Engineering- Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Agricultural Manufacturing or other Engineering/Industrial Technologies
Previous co-op experience is a plus
Knowledge of drafting software preferred (SolidWorks and ideally ProE)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Hands-on experience a plus (farm, mechanic, hobby carpentry, etc.)
Project management skills a plus
8 month commitment (student needs to see projects through to completion)
