Bobcat Introduces New Soil Cultivator Attachment in 62- and 78-inch Widths

WEST FARGO, N.D. — October 2006

When customers need to break up soil for preparing shallow seedbeds, food plots for outdoor activities, landscaping or large garden plots, they can turn to the new soil cultivator attachment from Bobcat Company, a business of Ingersoll Rand, a diversified industrial firm.

The Bobcat® soil cultivator attachment is available in widths of 62 and 78 inches and can be used on Bobcat skid-steer loaders (models 553 through S205), compact track loaders (models T140 through T190) and the Toolcat™ 5600 utility work machine.

Bobcat representatives say the soil cultivator attachment is ideal for farmers, homeowners with acreages, landscapers, recreational facilities and municipalities. In addition to efficiently breaking up soil for seedbed preparation, the soil cultivator also can be used for weed control along shelter belts or orchards.

The 62-inch soil cultivator attachment comes standard with nine "S" tines and the 78-inch attachment comes standard with 11 "S" tines. Both attachment widths are fully assembled and feature 4-inch shovels, a loader-mounting frame and hardware. Optional shovel sizes in widths of 1, 2.75 and 7 inches are also available.
