At the site of a new golf course, a load of trees is dropped off at a central location. Mitchell employees have to transport them throughout the course for planting. “One Toolcat machine, equipped with a Bobcat auger, drills the hole and another unit follows carrying the trees,” Mitchell says. “Then two or three crew members arrive to do the hands-on work, such as cutting the strings and spreading mulch, which is carried in a trailer behind the 5600. This process is repeated until the job is completed. For my money, it’s a very efficient way to handle this type of work.”
