Vibratory plow

The new Bobcat® VP12 vibratory plow attachment allows landscapers and utility contractors to bury irrigation pipe and wire up to 18 in. below ground (for difficult soils a maximum depth of 12 in. is recommended). The VP12 vibratory plow is approved for use on the MT52 and MT50 mini track loaders.

Blades are available in either pull or chute configuration, and are adjustable from either 6 to 12 in. or 12 to 18 in. A cable reel mount can be mounted on the plow to feed up to 1⁄2-in. diameter wire through the chute blade and directly into the ground. A threaded pipe puller is available to connect to either of the pull blades and will accomodate 1 to 11⁄2-in. irrigation pipe. Cable grips are available in three sizes to attach to pull blades and pull 1⁄2 to 11⁄2-in. wire.

A coulter wheel and pressure foot are standard on the vibratory plow that greatly reduces ground disturbance on lawns. The coulter wheel cuts sod immediately ahead of the plow blade. The pressure foot holds the sod down as the blade moves up and down. The result is a narrow slit that will mostly disappear when walked on or driven over with the mini track loader.
