Difficult chores require dependable equipment

Agriculture producers turn to Bobcat for reliable, versatile machines

Choose from four Bobcat utility vehicle models, including the two-wheel drive 2100 with an 800-lb. cargo box bed capacity.

Fifty years ago, turkey farmer Eddie Velo needed a machine that could replace manual labor and shovels to clean poultry barns. A compact loader and attachment did the job. Today, Bobcat Company leads the compact equipment industry with versatile machines and attachments for the agricultural industry.

You need tough, dependable equipment that won’t let you down, and you want it to be comfortable for long hours in the driver’s seat. Bobcat® skid-steer loaders and compact track loaders are built for demanding, day-in and day-out chores with the ability to perform many different jobs with attachments. Move hay bales, clear fence lines and remove manure from pens and barns with Bobcat compact loaders and attachments. Their compact frames allow operators to maneuver in tight spaces to complete chores that would otherwise be done by hand.

Track loaders emerge

A growing number of agriculture producers are switching from skid-steer loaders to compact track loaders for improved traction and superior flotation when working in soft or muddy conditions. Rubber track undercarriages easily push material in sand, manure and dirt. Superior lift capacities — up to 3,100 pounds — handle most needs on beef, dairy and poultry operations.

Pick and place

For applications that call for extended reach with high lift capacities, the VersaHandler® telescopic tool carrier is a good option. Choose from four models, including the V417, which is approved for use with more than 20 skid-steer loader attachments. Lift heights of 17 to 38 feet provide ample reach to pick and place bales over fences, while three steering modes give these machines great maneuverability.

Have fun and get work done too

In addition to these machines, Bobcat has a growing number of utility products to serve the agriculture community. These include nine compact tractors, four utility vehicles and two Toolcat™ utility work machines. Add Bobcat attachments and Category 1, 3-point hitch implements to these machines for improved productivity and increased efficiency on your farm or ranch.
