Attachments for Bobcat excavators
Some people still think that compact excavators are only digging machines.
Compact excavator with breaker attachment
While it’s true that Bobcat® excavators are very good at digging, there are many more available options for precise operation. Bobcat Company manufactures 15 unique attachments and accessories for excavators to increase their versatility and expand into new applications.
Construction
For excavating and grading tasks, Bobcat offers the strongest buckets in the industry. The X-Change attachment mounting system allows for quick changing of multiple-size buckets on the same excavator. This helps ensure the best bucket is used for digging, and it minimizes the amount of backfilling necessary when the project is complete. The optional Hydraulic X-Change system provides a faster way for operators to easily change excavator attachments and saves valuable time. Standard buckets have a range of 13 to 36 inches wide, while severe-duty buckets are available between 12 and 36 inches wide.
Accessories for Bobcat excavator attachments include Hydra-Tilt™, which has a hydraulic cylinder that angles the bucket 60 degrees from side to side. Also, the Power-Tilt swing accessory allows for 180 degrees of motion: Simply tilt the bucket instead of moving the entire excavator.

Bobcat excavators and hydraulic breakers can break up concrete, whether it’s inside or outside, or in a confined area. HB-Series hydraulic breakers are easy to mount, transmit lower noise and vibration levels back to the operator and deliver hard-hitting performance in a variety of applications.
For site preparation needs, Bobcat offers a popular clamp attachment that enables operators to easily lift and load material directly into a truck bed. The ripper attachment digs into frozen soil to make an initial cut in trenching applications.
A Bobcat excavator with a packer wheel or plate compactor can compact soil in a trench more quickly and safely than a person can.

Landscaping
Much like attachments for Bobcat loaders, attachments have changed the way landscapers operate compact excavators. There are more options for precise landscape installations with Bobcat excavators. For example, a Bobcat three-tine grapple or rotating grapple can do the hard work of lifting heavy rocks and boulders and easily place them in a new landscape or wall.
Excavator attachment readiness
Bobcat designs its excavator joystick controls for low-fatigue operation. Auxiliary hydraulic controls are at the operator’s fingertips, providing precise control of the excavator, including boom swing, the attachment and even an angle blade (optional).
Auxiliary quick couplers
Auxiliary quick couplers are conveniently located on the excavator boom, keeping them up out of the trench and out of harm’s way.
Clamp-ready
Clamp mounts are integrated into the dipper arm for maximum durability. Available for excavator’s with the extendable-arm option, too — another Bobcat exclusive!
Selectable auxiliary flow
Choose one of three flow rates that best match the particular attachment in use.
X-Change system
The X-Change attachment mounting system is a Bobcat exclusive for changing attachments quickly.
