Bobcat Company continues partnership with Teachers in Industry Internship Program
Bobcat Company is continuing its support of the Teachers in Industry program, a four-week internship offering teachers the opportunity to work in a corporate environment and further develop their understanding of various work disciplines.
Bobcat is one of six Fargo-area employers supporting the program, which began in 2011 as a partnership between the Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation, North Dakota State University and West Fargo Public Schools.
Patricia Arnold, a science teacher at West Fargo High School, is participating in the internship program at Bobcat. She will work with individuals based in the West Fargo Bobcat office to gain more in-depth knowledge of teamwork, collaboration, communication and other critical skills needed to be successful in Bobcat Company’s type of work environment.
“Bobcat is proud to support a program that blends education and real-world business experience together,” said Rich Goldsbury, president of Bobcat. “We’re excited to bring Patricia on board and help her gain knowledge and experience she can take back and share with her students in a practical manner.”
