R&R Peanut Butter Cookies

  • cup peanut butter
  • cup lard
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • Dash salt
  • 1 cups all-purpose flour

  1. Heat oven to 375 F.
  2. Combine peanut butter, lard, brown sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat until well blended and fluffy.
  3. Add egg, baking soda and salt; mix well.
  4. Stir in flour.
  5. Drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten in a crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar.
  6. Bake until lightly brown.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tube of biscuits
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  1. Heat oven to 350 F.
  2. In skillet, brown ground beef and drain.
  3. In small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar and chili powder. Stir until smooth. Add to meat and mix well.
  4. Roll out biscuits and cut into three -inch circles; fit into well-greased muffin tins.
  5. Fill with meat mixture and top with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake 20 minutes.

Serves 15 muffins.

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
  • 1 bag chocolate chips

  1. Finely crush Oreo cookies by hand or use a food processor.
  2. Mix cream cheese with crushed Oreo cookies (using your hands works best), making sure it's mixed well.
  3. Roll dough into - to 1-inch balls and place on cookie sheets.
  4. Put cookie sheets in fridge for at least an hour, until firm.
  5. Melt chocolate chips in microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each 30 seconds.
  6. Roll each ball in melted chocolate and put back on cookie sheets.
  7. Garnish with additional crushed Oreo cookies or melt white chocolate chips to drizzle over top (optional).
  8. Put cookie sheets back in fridge overnight or until hardened.
