More Uptime. Less Upkeep: Toolcat 5600 and 5610 Maintenance
Built To Bobcat Standards
Many people rely on Bobcat® vehicles to make a living. That’s why Bobcat compact equipment has to be stronger, tougher and more durable than other vehicles. Toolcat™ utility work machines meet and exceed the toughest standards in the industry – Bobcat Company standards. The components on the 5600 and 5610 — such as the engine and cooling system — are the same as those found in our legendary loaders and excavators. These components are rigorously tested in a wide range of applications, including construction, agriculture, military and more.
Rugged Spine Frame
The Toolcat work machine's innovative spine frame — the foundation of our engineering design — tackles the toughest jobs without twisting, and provides excellent balance when lifting, digging, pushing heavy snow and traveling on uneven ground. Its design protects components from dirt, debris and foreign objects, as well as delivers easy access to items for routine maintenance.
Frame Design Comparison
The traditional box frame is commonly used in the automotive industry.
The spine frame is more commonly used in the construction industry because of its rugged durability. It acts as a skid plate for improved component protection and provides dedicated hose routings. The spine frame also allows the engine to be side mounted for quick, easy access to routine maintenance items.
Maintenance Made Easy
Bobcat designs the durable Toolcat 5600 and 5610 with maintenance points that are easy to find and reach. When upkeep is quick and easy, maintenance is more likely to get done. That means you’ll get peak performance day in and day out for years to come.
Machine Shutdown Protection Feature
To protect your investment, the Toolcat 5600 and 5610 come standard with automatic shutdown that monitors the machine’s engine parameters and hydraulic functions. It will alert the operator and actually shut the machine down — lessening the chance of damage to the engine or hydraulic components. Automatic shutdown is standard on a majority of Bobcat equipment.
Battery Rundown Protection
The Toolcat utility work machine's lights automatically shut off to prevent accidental battery discharge.
Bobcat SmartFAN
Unlike a belt driven fan that runs continuously while the engine is running, the Bobcat SmartFAN is a variable speed fan that responds to the engine coolant and hydraulic oil temperatures and runs at full speed only when needed. The result is quieter machine operation for better jobsite communication and better cooling in extreme conditions.
LCD Readout
The LCD Readout is a direct link to the Toolcat utility work machine's controller. Within this system, the owner can lock out certain machine functions to prevent misuse or damage. For example, you may choose to lock out high flow hydraulics so your operators do not accidentally activate this function with a non-high flow attachment. Other features of the LCD Readout include resettable job clock, machine hour meter, travel speed and rpm readout.
