STEM Grants
Doosan Bobcat Discovery Grants support innovative K-12 STEM education initiatives in nearby communities. These grants help fund everything from hands-on classroom activities to district-wide projects, including large-scale science, technology, engineering and math lab renovations, and construction. Discovery Grants open each September, offering multiple tiers of funding.
University Partnerships
Bobcat invests in the universities around us. We provide monetary support, volunteer engagement, advisory board participation, event hosting, curriculum collaboration, and more. We are committed to long-term university partnerships as they are also an important source of talent and recruitment as we help develop the next generation of innovators.
Scholarships
We support students pursuing careers in STEM and manufacturing-related fields with a robust scholarship program. There are numerous Bobcat scholarships available for universities, colleges, trade schools, and community college programs. We partner with specific post-secondary institutions to open doors for promising students and ease the financial burden of a path to success in these fields.

K-12 STEM Ambassadors
Every Bobcat site is supported by a STEM Ambassador team of passionate employees from all areas of the company. Their mission is to create hands-on, real world STEM experiences for K-12 kids in the surrounding communities. Our hope is that these experiences inspire curiosity in STEM careers and connect students with further opportunities at Bobcat. Examples of STEM Ambassador initiatives include community STEM camps, SkillsUSA team support and mentorship, engineering week, National Manufacturing Day, and more.

Post-Secondary Education
Our Post-Secondary Education programs offer college students the chance to learn by experience, either through internships or co-op opportunities. We welcome students from a wide range of schools and academic disciplines into our offices and work sites. We host hundreds of students across North America every year, many of whom transition into full-time employees after graduation.
UNC Charlotte Partnership
Supporting the Next Generation
Bobcat recently donated $200,000 to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s William States Lee College of Engineering. This donation will provide scholarships for students studying engineering, supply chain and other STEM-related subjects - expand Bobcat’s Student Development Program on this campus.
