Doosan Bobcat North America participates in ‘Hour of Code’ workshops as part of Computer Science Education Week

(WEST FARGO, N.D. – December 2017) Doosan Bobcat North America participated in “Hour of Code” workshops as part of Computer Science Education Week – a time devoted to computer science education at all levels – during the first week of December.

As part of “Hour of Code,” Doosan Bobcat employees were given the opportunity to connect with elementary, middle and high school classrooms in North Dakota and Minnesota communities where Doosan Bobcat has offices or production facilities. Employees spoke to students about technology in the workplace and assisted them with computer science activities.

Schools participating in this year’s “Hour of Code” initiative included:

  • Liberty Middle School, West Fargo, North Dakota
  • Light of Christ Catholic School, Bismarck, North Dakota
  • Lincoln Elementary School, Lincoln, North Dakota
  • Milnor Elementary School, Milnor, North Dakota
  • Northridge Elementary School, Bismarck, North Dakota
  • Rita Murphy Elementary School, Bismarck, North Dakota
  • Sunrise Elementary School, Bismarck, North Dakota
