(WEST FARGO, N.D. – June 2018) Doosan Bobcat North America is proud to honor Dustin Schell, paintline manager at Bobcat Company’s Gwinner manufacturing facility, with the Patriot Award. The award is presented to supervisors who support their employees involved in the National Guard or Reserve.
Schell was nominated by Jacob Keller, who has served in the National Guard for five years and recently re-enlisted for an additional six years.
“Dustin is very supportive of me and my role in the military,” said Keller. “When something comes up for the National Guard, he doesn’t hesitate to help work with me and encourage participation.”
Schell is proud to continue showing his long-standing support for military service and the sacrifices military employees make for our freedom and safety.
“Supporting Jacob on his journey was an easy decision,” said Schell. “I will always support any individual associated with a military branch. Their sacrifices allow us to live the lives we do today.”
The Patriot Award is made possible through Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a U.S. Department of Defense organization. The group’s mission is to reward and promote a culture in which American employers support and value the military service of their employees. The award reflects a wide range of measures, including flexible scheduling, time off and compensation. Extended care may also be provided to families of the service member.
“At Doosan Bobcat we take great pride in our military service men and women at all levels within our company,” said Rich Goldsbury, president of Doosan Bobcat North America. “The values and skills they bring to the workforce is immeasurable. We are thankful for their service.”
