Grader Attachment

How Does It Work?

Blades move six different ways and the front bolster oscillates 12 degrees to the right or left, allowing for grading on any surface while minimizing the effect of uneven ground. Tires on the bolster provide excellent flotation to keep the grader moving smoothly over the work area. A dirt shield is mounted over the moldboard to keep material pushing forward instead of backward over the top of the grader. The cutting edge of the moldboard is reversible; when the edge wears out, it can be flipped over to provide a fresh cutting blade.

Smoother operation and quicker reaction of the grader can be gained when paired with the laser control system. With the laser system, the farther the blade is from grade, the more quickly it will move to grade.

Grader Features:

Dirt Shield: Mounted over the moldboard, the dirt shield keeps pushed materials moving forward.
Flotation Tires: Provide excellent flotation to keep the grader moving smoothly over the work area.
Hydraulic Side Shift: Moves the blade as much as 13 inches to the left or right, making it easier to grade next to buildings, poles, and other obstacles. Standard for larger graders.
Laser Control System (optional): Automatically moves the blade up or down to keep the base material exactly on-grade. Grader is laser-ready; just add bolt-on poles and laser receivers for smooth, precise laser adjustments.
Moldboard Side Shift: Manually adjusts up to 12 inches to the left or right, for grading next to buildings, curbs, and other obstacles.
Oscillating Bolster: Oscillates 12 degrees to the left or right to minimize the effect of uneven ground.
Proportional Hydraulic Valve: Offers three speeds at which the moldboard is raised or lowered, meaning operation can be more closely matched to the speed of the loader. The longer the operator presses the button that controls the valve, the faster the moldboard moves.

Operating Tips:

When operating with a skid-steer loader, tilt the Bob-Tach� forward to maintain 2 to 4 inches of clearance between the bottom of the front wheels and the ground. This creates a longer wheelbase to help achieve a smoother grade.
When operating with a compact track loader, tilt the Bob-Tach� slightly forward to lighten the front of the tracks. This helps achieve a smoother grade while still utilizing the full tractive effort of the loader.

Attachment Accessories:

Bolt-on End Wing Kit: Helps to carry more material when fine grading or spreading materials such as sand or gravel. Turns the grader into a box blade, eliminating the need for an additional attachment. Option for larger graders.
Laser Control System: Automatically moves the blade up or down to keep the base material on-grade.
