New Doosan Portable Power Stage V Products
Publié : 11 avril 2019
The 12/205 and 12/255 are part of a new generation of large Doosan Stage V portable compressors, with nine models offering free air deliveries from 14.0 to 30.0 m3/min at operating pressures from 7.0 to 21.0 bar.
Low pressure models are powered by the new Cummins B6.7 Stage V engine, whilst the high pressure compressors are powered by the new Cummins L9 Stage V engine. All the compressors are equipped with an integrated after-treatment system and provide increased fuel efficiency.
These new Stage V compressors are built to the Doosan high standards of quality, reliability and durability, again combining a compact size with enhanced serviceability to ensure ease of use and an outstanding return on investment.
All the models also offer increased environmental protection via a standard bunded base and the optional ECOmizer system, resulting in up to 30% fuel consumption reduction depending on the application.
Large portable compressors like these are used to provide compressed air for a wide range of drilling and boring machines for quarrying, mining, site investigation, geothermal, mineral exploration and water well construction work. They also cover other specialist applications such as abrasive blasting, spray painting and standby and temporary compressed air for industry.
Designed for the Rental Industry
The new 7/53R portable compressor supplies 5.0 m3/min (177 cfm) of compressed air at a rated pressure of 7 bar. Designed to meet O1 trailer category requirements – the 750 kg category – the new 7/53R is ideally suited not only for the rental market but also as a durable, cost-effective machine for the 5.0 m3/min segment, covering the most common applications in construction, utilities and other markets.
Like all DPP compressors, the modular design of the 7/53R ensures that a wide range of optional equipment can be added easily. As well as ‘Tough Top’ polymer – a new feature in the 7/53R model - or steel canopies, the options can include customer colours, LED lights, a Heavy Duty light grill, a number plate clip, wheel nut indicators, fixed or variable height running gear, an aftercooler with water separator and a 110% fluid content bunded base.
Another DPP product being presented at Bauma is the G20 generator, providing a prime power output of 19 kVA and driven by the Yanmar 4TNV88 18 kW diesel engine, meeting EU Stage V engine emission levels for generators and now commercially available.
Of particular interest for the rental market, the fuel tank configuration on the G20 generator ensures autonomy of at least 47 hours at 75% of the load. Safe and easy access to operation and maintenance areas has been a priority throughout the design of this generator.
A user-friendly feature is the electrical control and power compartment which has been designed to meet the highest safety, reliability and flexibility requirements. All control functions are grouped together on the 4510 Deep Sea Electronics simple-to-use operator control panel, displaying critical operating parameters at a glance.
DPP will continue to offer the existing range running from the G30IIIA to the largest G500IIIA model, offering robustness and reliability, high performance and a wide choice of features to meet the needs of temporary power applications.
From the construction site, to the concert stage, to the front lines of disaster relief efforts, the Doosan Portable Power generator range offers hire companies, contractors, event organizers, emergency services, general industry and many other customers the highest quality, backed by dedicated technical and service support worldwide.
New Lighting Products
DPP is also showing several lighting products at Bauma. These include the LSV9 Lightsource with a 9 m vertical mast, a proven product used in many applications from sport and cultural events to its use by national armies in various part of Europe. Also being shown is the new BL400 Balloon Light, which uses the latest in LED technology to light up large areas of space quickly using 400 W lights.
The new products on show at Bauma 2019 are part of DPP’s comprehensive range of generators, portable compressors and lighting products for the construction and plant and tool hire industries. Completing the line-up are construction tools such as air-powered chipping hammers, pickhammers, jackhammers and paving breakers for work in demolition, utilities, quarrying and industrial markets.
Bobcat Loaders Excel Again in 2019 LCO Awards
Posted: 31 mai 2019
The LCO Awards are the industry’s only accolade of their kind, based on empirical data regarding the long-term cost of heavy and compact equipment. They are organised by EquipmentWatch, a world leader in data, software and insights for the heavy equipment industry. Nominees are recognised within 15 different categories of machine that exhibit the lowest cost of ownership over a five year span.
Total cost of ownership is one of the most important aspects that buyers take into account when they purchase equipment. The awards won by the T590 and S70 are a testament to the reputation for high performance, quality and reliability that the Bobcat range of compact loaders, mini-excavators, telehandlers and attachments has established over the last 60 years.
Commenting on Bobcat’s success in the LCO Awards, Jiri Karmazin, Loaders Product Manager Doosan Bobcat EMEA, said: “We are delighted to win these awards again. They demonstrate why even after more than 60 years, the Bobcat compact loader range continues to be the market leader, so that one in every two skid-steer loaders sold today is still a Bobcat machine. It is our commitment to outstanding quality, workmanship and innovation that has helped to maintain our market leadership.”
The Bobcat T590 and S70 Compact Loaders
The T590 compact track loader has an operating weight of 3548 kg, a rated operating capacity (ISO 14397-1) of 971 kg and a tipping load (ISO 14397-1) of 2774 kg. A particular aspect of Bobcat compact track loaders like the T590 is the excellent ground-hugging abilities and stability offered by the tracks for work in harsh, wet conditions and for utilities and road maintenance with Bobcat planer and wheel saw attachments.
The S70 is the smallest model in the Bobcat skid-steer loader range. With a width of 901 mm, a height of 1814 mm, an overall length with standard bucket of 2472 mm and an operating weight of only 1268 kg, the S70 skid-steer loader ticks all the boxes for compactness, transportability and manoeuvrability. With its small dimensions, the S70 model can access sites with narrow openings such as gates, alleys or aisles. The S70 is ideal for work in tight areas where larger machines cannot manoeuvre effectively.
The T590 and S70, like all Bobcat compact loaders, are equipped with the quick-change Bob-Tach attachment mounting system, allowing them to be combined quickly and safely with a very wide choice of Bobcat attachments, delivering versatility and time-saving efficiency across a huge range of different applications.
