Whether you need a UTV to haul materials on the jobsite or tow heavy trailers and equipment on your acreage, the Bobcat® 39.9-hp UV34 utility vehicle is the right choice for your toughest jobs. The 1,000cc, two-cylinder SOHC engine is designed for maximum durability and reliability for challenging conditions, delivering the high-performance power you need with gas-engine convenience. The large, 900-watt stator provides more power – about 75 amps of output - for use with the snow blade and other electric-powered accessories, and the electronic fuel injection provides the best starting performance for working in all seasons. A large cargo box made of a durable composite interior handles up to 1,250 pounds of materials or supplies to help you do more and do it better. With an increased tow rating, improved ground clearance, all-wheel drive and convenient service access, the UV34 delivers what you need to manage more of your challenging projects.
If you’re looking for a hard-working utility vehicle, payload capacity is probably at the top of your list. With payload capacities up to 1,250 lbs., you won’t be held back when your work requires the most from your machine. The Bobcat® utility vehicle is extremely useful for helping with a variety of tasks and activities.
Easily pull light-duty trailers through difficult terrain with an industry-leading towing rating of 2,000 lbs. Just hook up to the standard 2-inch hitch receiver and go. Haul a trailer with firewood, grass clippings or leaves, landscaping materials, trailered watercraft and much more. The weight of the trailer load is distributed directly to the tires without compressing the suspension, which means you can tow a large load without compromising your ride quality.
No matter what you have to transport, the composite cargo box can handle it. With 15.6 cubic feet of storage space and 1,250 lb load capacity, it’s one of the best in its class. It also includes multiple tie-down points, an easy-to-open single latch tailgate and standard lift assist for pain-free dumping. A rock solid, one-piece composite material design means it resists dents, scratches, rust and corrosion.
Choose a utility vehicle with the best transmission type to propel you through your work: A quick continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a rock-solid hydrostatic transmission for your toughest jobs. Both transmissions offer low and high range operation. Low range provides maximum drive torque on hills, while towing heavy loads or when pushing snow. High range provides fast travel on hardpacked surfaces under light loads.
If you’re in four-wheel drive mode and the rear wheels start to lose traction, the front wheels engage to give you enough torque to push through demanding terrain.
Three selectable drive modes give you more versatility with easy, push-button control. Single-wheel drive allows wheels to turn at different rpm, reducing ground disturbance to protect grass and other finished surfaces. Two-wheel mode provides power to both rear wheels. All-wheel drive provides the ultimate traction. After you stop to lock the differential, you can change from two-wheel mode to four-wheel drive on the fly. You'll maintain your momentum with the flip of a switch.
Tow and haul more with an adjustable suspension system you can fine-tune to meet the demands of your work. Soften the suspension for lighter loads and maximum comfort or adjust to a firmer setting for a serious boost in performance with heavy payloads.
On gas models, you can set the top speed to suit your working conditions – from 15 to 35 mph in five-minute increments. Increase the top speed to 35 mph with an optional speed kit. Diesel models have a standard top speed of 35 mph. Based on safety and worksite requirements, top speeds can be reduced to 15 or 25 mph with an optional speed reduction kit.
Primary and secondary clutches on Bobcat® utility vehicles are matched to engine horsepower and torque curves for optimal drive performance in demanding applications. The clutches transfer high torque at lower revolutions per minute, delivering great performance for towing, traversing difficult terrain or pushing snow. The stronger belt engagement minimizes slippage, allowing for precise control while hauling materials at low travel speeds and a smoother ride for passengers. Plus, careful alignment of the belt and clutch as well as controlled operating temperatures give you a longer stretch between service intervals.
When you remove your foot from the travel control pedal on hydrostatic models, the system will naturally reduce the flow of oil, causing the machine to slow, meaning less wear on the brakes and reduced energy consumption.
Strength comes standard on both the UV34 and UV34XL utility vehicles (UTVs) with a rigid chassis that greatly improves ground clearance and road capability while allowing more range of motion in the suspension for superior ride quality. You’ll notice the difference and durability of a tougher frame, suspension components, cast wheel hubs, and extended-life wheel bearings. Towing capacity has been increased to 2,500 pounds so you can haul heavier trailers while retaining a full range of shock absorption for a smooth, comfortable ride and all the performance you need in a work-focused vehicle.
You’ll be prepared for just about any kind of situation with standard tires on UV34and UV34XL utility vehicles. Their deep tread design and 8-ply construction are great for off-road performance. Optional hard surface or turf tires are available for unique applications on both models.
Thanks to its impressive payload capacity and towing capabilities, a Bobcat® utility vehicle is extremely useful for helping with a variety of tasks and activities. On construction sites and landscaping jobs, it’s the perfect piece of equipment for hauling materials, carrying tools and transporting crews from one work area to the next. On small acreages, it makes gardening projects more convenient when using hoses, sprinklers, potted plants, fertilizer and more around the property. For recreational activities, Bobcat UTVs offer the power and hauling capacity to carry fishing, hunting and sports gear or haul trailers and boats.
Easily navigate past obstacles, around landscaping, between buildings or down winding trails with confidence thanks to electronic power steering – standard on all Bobcat® utility vehicles. In turf mode, the UV34 has a turning radius of 110 inches and UV34XL has a turning radius of 154 inches.
No matter what kind of weather you find yourself surrounded by, you’ll be prepared with the modular cab. It’s an exclusive cab system that gives you the power to pick the best configuration for your working conditions. Just choose the components you need and leave off the rest. The possibilities for configuration are endless.
With just a glace, you’ll get all the operation information you need. An intuitively designed dash puts key operation information right in front of you. The advanced digital display shows speed, machine hours, service codes and engine rpm. Indicator lights let you see quickly if the parking brake is engaged or if the vehicle is in high, low, neutral or park.
Stay warm in cooler temperatures with optional dealer-installed heat. Eight air vents provide continuous air movement around the cab. The dash defrost kit clears iced-over windows.

Feel the improved support of the contoured comfort seat and three-point spring-loaded seat belts with comfort strap. Stretch out and you’ll notice more legroom than ever before thanks to a tilt steering wheel. Enjoy the power of your machine without hearing the roar of its engine thanks to an improved muffler and engine layout. With multiple seating options, you can transport passengers around your property or jobsite, no matter your crew size. Depending on your model, you can accommodate three (UV34) or six people (UV34XL). Further extend your comfort with optional features like heat and a radio and speaker system.
From the moment you step into a Bobcat® UTV, you’ll find uncomplicated controls placed exactly where you expect them. Standard features like power steering make operating utility vehicles similar to an automobile. Other controls are ergonomically shaped and fit your hands naturally.
Keep dust and debris out of your way with the optional enclosed UTV cab, which also increases heating efficiency. When you want to enjoy fresh air and an unobstructed view from your side-by-side, the new cab doors also offer roll-down windows.
Stay organized on the go with more in-dash storage and cup holders: six on the UV34 and eight on the UV34XL UTV model. Larger items can be conveniently stowed under the flip-up seat. Stay connected and charge your phone or other devices right in the cab.
Not only is your Bobcat utility vehicle built tough, but it’s also designed to minimize your upkeep. Access the engine compartment easily and quickly to inspect the air filter, check engine oil and perform other regular maintenance tasks. In addition, the fuel tank is conveniently located to make refueling easier. Spending more time on the job and less time on service means a lower cost of ownership. Service intervals are now twice as long as with previous models, ensuring that you spend more time using your UTV than maintaining it.
The easily removable hood allows you to check and fill coolant, install accessories, and check electrical connections. Convenient access to air, oil and fuel filters, grease points, coolant and engine oil make for easier service and quicker oil changes on your UTV. Maintenance-free suspension joints provide fewer grease points, cutting down the time you spend on this important maintenance task. Bobcat® utility vehicles are designed so you can check the oil without moving or unloading the cargo box, making it faster and more convenient to maintain your machine so you can stay on the go.
Several assets make the machine protection on Bobcat UTVs second to none. Automatic machine shutdown monitors critical engine components and prevents damage by shutting down the engine if there's a problem. The brush guard features an integrated, frame-mounted guard that provides additional protection to the radiator, lights and hood and shields the front end from branches, rocks, uneven terrain and other obstructions. A radiator guard reduces the potential for radiator damage. Similarly, the CV boot guard protects the CV boots from damaging debris. The entire underbody is shielded by a full skid plate, which protects the underbody and frame from uneven terrain, branches rocks, and other debris. The CTV cover protects CTV components from debris and moisture that can cause slippage and damage to the drive belt.
How valuable is peace of mind? With liquid-cooling and automatic machine shutdown, you’ll get the machine protection required to keep you working without worry. Liquid cooling prevents overheating of critical engine components while automatic machine shutdown keeps your engine safe from catastrophic failure. Hydraulic fluid cooling is standard on hydrostatic models.
On diesel models, the standard-equipped automatic glow plugs turn on and off without input from you. Unlike gasoline engines that rely on spark plugs, diesel engines rely on compression and heat for ignition. When diesel engines are cold, glow plugs pre-heat the engine block and enable easier ignition.
Customize your machine with UV34 and UV34XL accessories and get the job done. Whether you’re looking for extra style, added comfort, or enhanced productivity, you can make your machine as unique as you are with a UTV tool box, door and windshield options, mirrors, work lights and more.
