- New WS-SL20 Wheel Saw Attachment from Bobcat
New WS-SL20 Wheel Saw Attachment from Bobcat
Posted: 9 March 2018
Bobcat is launching the new WS-SL20 Self-Levelling Wheel Saw. Approved for use on the Bobcat S630, S650, S770 and S850 skid-steer loaders; the T590, T650, T770 and T870 compact track loaders and the A770 all-wheel steer loader, the new WS-SL20 Wheel Saw is designed to cut efficiently through asphalt, rock and concrete surfaces.
The WS-SL20 Wheel Saw has a variable segments wheel, which allows the user to quickly change the width of the wheel (50, 80, 100, 120 mm) in the field, instead of replacing the complete wheel in a workshop (providing a saving of 10 hours in the process).
The self-levelling feature on the WS-SL20 allows the attachment to follow and adapt to the contours of the ground and the new design means that a trench cleaner is no longer needed.
Utilising well-proven Bobcat components such as the ACD (with Bobcat Software) and valve block components, the new wheel saw has an integrated stabilizers system and a standard rubber shield for stone ejection/dust reduction. There is a water kit option for dust reduction. Removable deflectors are also a standard feature, allowing the WS-SL20 to operate as close as possible to the pavement edge.
Applications include fixed width trenching for the utilities covering water, gas, power, telecommunications and fibre optic networks. The WS-SL20 can be used for creating excavation sites and for slot cutting. The WS-SL20 can also be used for maintenance work, including trenching vertical edges for road and pavement repairs.
As a market leader worldwide, Bobcat offers customers so many advantages in the attachment market. They include the company‘s One-Stop-Shop approach – providing every possible combination of machine and attachment from one source and a massive stock of products available for immediate shipment worldwide.
This is backed by the service support of the vast Bobcat dealer network, Bobcat Service Specialists and Parts warehouses around the world to reduce downtime. The warranty protection available from Bobcat allows customers to avoid the disputes that may arise from the compatibility and operating problems that are caused by the use of non-approved attachments.
In contrast, all Bobcat attachments are engineering approved, ensuring that they are optimized for efficiency, performance and greater productivity. This results in lower operating and maintenance costs. In addition, products are manufactured to the highest standards, guaranteeing the best quality and meeting, or exceeding, local requirements all around the world.
