Can a rotary telehandler replace a crane?
It can cover approved lifts within its load chart and regulatory scope. Heavy loads, large radii, complex rigging, or crane-specific lift plans may still require a dedicated crane.
Can a rotary telehandler operate on tires?
Some functions and capacities may be available on tires, depending on the model. Maximum working envelopes normally require the stabiliser configuration shown on the load chart.
What interface do Bobcat rotary telehandlers use?
They use Quick-Fit with RFID attachment recognition, not Bob-Tach.
Does partial stabiliser extension stop the machine working?
On models with proportional stabilizer load charts, the system can reduce the working envelope according to actual extension. The operator must follow the displayed chart and ground requirements.
Is a rotary machine always better on a congested site?
Not automatically. You still need a suitable standing area and stabilizer footprint. A smaller standard telehandler may be the better choice when it can reposition safely, and the lift pattern is simple.
