Bobcat Demo Days – the Ultimate Customer Event
Posted: 14 November 2018
The latest Bobcat Demo Days in October 2018 reflects the very close relationship between the company and its customers from all around Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). It provides a great platform for Bobcat’s 180 dealers in 75 EMEA countries and their customers to try out nearly 50 different machines and a similar number of attachments in working conditions.
Guests have the freedom to drive and operate almost any machine of their choice, safe in the knowledge that assistance and advice is close-at-hand from the many Bobcat product specialists, market experts and demonstrators in attendance.
With over 600 visitors attending over the two weeks, Demo Days typifies the support and care Bobcat offers customers throughout the region. This builds on the close proximity customers have at a local level, with easy accessibility at Demo Days to Bobcat personnel in all parts of the company, to ensure that feedback and experiences are exchanged in both directions.
Customers can enjoy the full Bobcat experience. In addition to seeing machines in action and trying them out for themselves in real applications (including agricultural work for the first time), they can also take factory tours and see how Bobcat machines are manufactured.
New Products at Demo Days
Appearing for the first time at this Demo Days is Bobcat’s brand new heavy lift TL43.80HF compact telehandler and R-Series 2-4 tonne mini-excavators, both redefining industry standards in their respective markets. The company is also presenting new developments in the market-leading Bobcat compact loader range and the arrival of the new S100E skid-steer loader model, providing customers with a wide range of new product features and capabilities.
In 2018, the range of compact loaders including skid-steer, compact track and all-wheel steer models that Bobcat has developed over the last six decades continues to dominate the market, combined with 100+ attachments to meet every specific customer’s needs.
Part of the outstanding 60 year legacy at Bobcat has been expansion to offer a complete and wider range of compact products. Bobcat moved into mini-excavators well over 30 years ago and the company can also boast more than 55 years of experience in lifting and material handling products (through the acquisition of Sambron).
The company has continued to increase and develop these products so that today, Bobcat is pleased to offer full line-ups of both mini-excavators and telehandlers that match the same tough internal requirements on reliability and productivity that Bobcat applies to the company’s loaders.
Demo Days is held at the Doosan Bobcat campus in Dobris, Czech Republic. This allows customers to see how new investments in R&D, manufacturing, facilities and processes is making it even easier to do business with the company.
Craig Mann, Director at Balgownie, the Bobcat dealer for the North of Scotland, said: “With my experience in taking well over 80 customers in the last few years, it’s been all good − fantastic set up in Dobris, friendly staff, the whole day from start to finish is brilliant! Customers are truly amazed when they come over and see what Bobcat is all about. Bringing customers here is a must.”
Boasting a new choreography and spectacular staging, the Demo Show in the evening will once again be a highlight of the event. The use of live music, performing artists, colour laser lights, fog effects and fireworks make sure this is an unforgettable experience for Demo Days visitors.
