Radio Remote Control on Bobcat loaders - A New Way of Working in Spain

In line with its commitment to constant fleet renewal, Vitrac is now the first Spanish company to use the new Bobcat remote control system. For the first time, the remote control system has been used on a brand new Bobcat T770 compact track loader equipped with a Bobcat WS32 wheel saw attachment. 

Better Visibility, Greater Control and Fewer Incidents

A spokesperson for Vitrac Obra Pública said: “When making trenches, the remote control gives us better visibility of the work area and greater control of the environment. We can carry out the work more quickly with just one operator and fewer delays. Thanks to the external positioning of the operator and the attachment, the entire environment is improved as well as the safety of the works.

“The combination of the T770 compact loader, the wheel saw and the Bobcat remote control gives us increased stability and safety and provides us with a panoramic view that we could not get with other equipment. Now we can carry out other types of work that up to now we could not do, such as pipelining in public works."

The system is very intuitive to use and the training for end users is always provided by Bobcat dealers.

The latest addition to the Vitrac fleet, the new Bobcat T770 compact track loader is a vertical lift model offering optimum lifting capacity and reach. It is powerful and robust, with high breakout forces and operating capacities, shorter cycles, faster turns and very suitable for working with attachments thanks to its high hydraulic flow.

In addition, Vitrac has Bobcat S530 and S570 skid-steer loaders and Bobcat E17z and E50 mini-excavators, with which it can share other attachments, giving the company great versatility and cost savings in not having machines that are only specific for certain jobs.
