PG190 Overview

The Bobcat PG190 portable generator was engineered with operators and technicians in mind. All maintenance points on the generator are easily accessible and designed for fast and easy service on the jobsite. With 500-hour intervals between fluid and filter exchanges, the PG190 maximizes your productivity by minimizing downtime for maintenance.

To further improve serviceability, the PG190 portable generator features the exclusive DualBox™ enclosure design, which separates the powertrain from the cooling system, allowing independent control of the cooling performance in each compartment.

The engine compartment is cooled by dual variable-speed electric cooling fans designed to maximize sound attenuation and minimize water ingression. The cooling compartment features a high efficiency centrifugal-style cooling fan that improves fuel economy and provides the cooling performance needed for the Cummins QSB7-G8 engine.

The high-performance Cummins engine was engineered to deliver a long lifespan. It features an innovative low-load management solution that significantly minimizes sludge buildup that would otherwise bog down and damage the engine.

The Bobcat PG190 comes equipped with separately excited brushless alternators that deliver the motor starting capability required to power tower cranes, rock crushers and oil field equipment. For more sensitive applications, like concerts, film production and special events, the solid-state automatic voltage regulators provide the precise voltage control you need for safe operation. A dual-frequency switch also comes standard on the PG190, giving operators the ability to change from 50 Hz to 60 Hz, further increasing overall versatility.

To ensure long life and resistance to dust and moisture common in mobile generator applications, Bobcat uses the highest-grade insulating materials available to protect your investment and reduce maintenance costs.
