WEST FARGO, N.D. (January 2019) – Doosan Bobcat North America plans to house a new digital business innovation center in the Black Building in downtown Fargo, North Dakota. The Black Building is owned by Kilbourne Group, a real estate developer focused on the revitalization of downtown Fargo.

“We’re excited to have the Doosan Bobcat team join our high-energy downtown business community,” said Mike Allmendinger, president of Kilbourne Group. “They will be a great addition to the community of businesses who are making downtown Fargo one of the most exciting places in the region.”

The facility will provide employees and partners a place to pursue ideas and projects to support digital transformation, innovation and business growth.

The 11,000-square-foot space will feature state-of-the-art project team rooms, innovation areas, a project pitch area with space to collaborate with outside partners. The workspace will serve as a dedicated space, outside of normal business operations, for pursuing new business opportunities.

“To effectively inspire and encourage innovation among our employees, we recognized a need for workspace solely dedicated to bringing about innovative ideas and solutions,” said Scott Park, president and CEO of Doosan Bobcat North America. “Downtown Fargo and the Black Building workspace will provide a forum for creative thinking to help drive the effort to innovate and digitalize our products and services.”

Construction for the Doosan Bobcat Digital Business Innovation Center will begin March 31, 2019. Doosan Bobcat expects to begin operating out of the Black Building by October 1.
