• Manual provides precise speed control.  
• Auto 1-4 automatically shifts up and down depending on the task. As you demand more speed, it shifts up; when you need more power and torque, it shifts down.   
• Auto 2-4 with manual kickdown shifts automatically in gear 2 through gear 4, with a manual downshift into first gear. This provides great performance and flexibility for lighter-duty work.

Power, normal and economy modes give you more ability to customize the Bobcat loader’s performance to match the job – whether your priority is power or fuel economy.   

• Power mode gives you the highest performance to quickly load and carry material, with fast travel from point to point.  
• Normal mode covers a wide variety of everyday work conditions while enhancing your fuel efficiency.  
• Economy mode keeps fuel consumption to a minimum while reducing engine sound levels – so you can complete light-duty tasks in maximum comfort. 

With planetary drives to transfer torque to the wheels, Bobcat wheel loaders provides high travel speeds and impressive torque. High travel speeds mean less need for trailering when moving between jobsites.  

A variable geometric turbocharger generates more torque and a quicker response at low rpm, giving you a precise, satisfying response when you push the accelerator.

The automatic powershift torque converter transmission makes operation easy, maximizes productivity and saves fuel during demanding load-and-carry work (not available on the L205). 

Enhance operation with feedback that helps to improve productivity. The wheel loader operation tips are generated in response to actual operator driving habits – ensuring that feedback is relevant and helpful. 

Automatic ride control detects when you’re carrying material and cushions the load to reduce spillage. 

The lift arm float allows the bucket to follow ground contours for fast backdragging, efficient snow removal and other tasks.

Set a maximum lift height and work easily in areas with height restrictions, such as under bridges, building entries or indoors.

This setting allows for slow and fine movements for maneuvering in tight spaces or around corners. 

Bobcat large wheel loaders have an articulation joint that delivers a tight turning radius for high maneuverability in obstacle-filled jobsites.

The high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel delivery system and cooled exhaust gas recirculation work with aftertreatment systems to fully meet Tier 4 requirements.  
 
Tier 4 aftertreatment technologies include diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR) with diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The L205 also requires a diesel particulate filter (DPF).

A limited-slip differential gives torque to the wheel with the most traction, powering you through tough ground and generating unbeatable pushing power.

The Z-bar linkage design of Bobcat wheel loaders enables heavy lifting and loading, fast bucket movement, excellent breakout forces, and easy bucket angle positioning.

Standard auto-idle reduces engine rpm when the steering wheel or joystick isn’t being used – saving fuel and operating costs. When you move the controls, the loader automatically returns to its working rpm. 

With the auto shutdown feature, the wheel loader will shut down after a preset interval, saving you fuel and money. You can set the shutdown timer from 3 to 60 minutes with the touch display.

Run hydraulic attachments with standard hydraulic piping that’s routed to the base of the lift arm. You can also add hydraulic lines that go all the way to the end of the lift arm. 

There’s a wide variety of high-quality Bobcat attachments available that can help you tackle a range of tasks. Use a general-purpose bucket; specialized buckets for light material, aggregate or rocks; grapple buckets; pallet forks; or other attachments.

Engines meet Tier 4 regulations without a diesel particulate filter (DPF). This reduces downtime that occurs with DPF regeneration and long-term DPF maintenance costs – so you can focus on working and less on maintenance.
