- Bobcat Company Supports The Salvation Army with Equipment Donation
Where Help Meets Horsepower
Published on October 10, 2025
- Bobcat Company has partnered with The Salvation Army to strengthen disaster preparedness and response.
- This collaboration includes the donation of 23 critical machines like forklifts, portable generators and light towers, valued at $885,000.
- The equipment closes a vital logistics gap, enabling The Salvation Army to deliver food, water, shelter and hope faster when disasters hit.
- Together, Bobcat and The Salvation Army are building resilience today and preparing communities for tomorrow.
When hurricanes tore through the Southeast in 2024, leaving neighborhoods in ruins and families displaced, The Salvation Army was on the front lines delivering meals, distributing clean-up kits and providing emotional care to thousands. Limited access to essential resources can slow relief efforts, but donated equipment from Doosan Bobcat have improved warehouse operations, provided light towers for nighttime service, and supplied generators to keep critical processes running when electricity is down, helping teams respond more efficiently and effectively.
In the chaos after a storm, sourcing forklifts, portable generators or light towers can cost valuable hours. That’s why Bobcat stepped in with the machines that keep recovery moving.
Bobcat Powers Life-Saving Preparedness
With Bobcat’s equipment donation, The Salvation Army can now deploy vital tools directly from its Emergency Disaster Services warehouses. The impact is immediate: forklifts unloading pallets of food and water, generators powering mobile kitchens, and light towers illuminating relief sites long into the night.
Partners like Bobcat make it possible for The Salvation Army to respond swiftly and effectively when communities are devastated by disaster. Their generosity ensures we can bring relief and hope to those who need it most.
