Software enhancements are now available for eligible Bobcat® R-Series loaders purchased between 2023 and 2026. Designed to improve how a loader feels and responds, these enhancements give eligible R-Series loaders access to some of the controllability advancements introduced on the Bobcat Pro loader series. Now you can experience the improved controllability introduced on the Classic loader and Pro loader series. This enhancement extends the benefits of Pro loader technology to eligible R-Series loaders, providing a noticeable impact on your day-to-day operations.

R-Series Loader Update Compatibility
Almost every Bobcat® R-Series loader purchased between 2023 and 2026 can benefit from these enhancements, with the exception of the Bobcat® T62 compact track loader and the S62® skid-steer loader. However, the exact update available varies between models.

Most Bobcat® R-Series loaders purchased between 2023 and 2026 can benefit from these enhancements. Available updates vary by model and machine configuration. The Bobcat T62 compact track loader and S62 skid-steer loader are not eligible for this update.
Smoother, More Predictable Drive Response
Available for most R-Series loaders*, this enhancement delivers smoother machine responsiveness, better joystick control and drive mode improvements that can be selected to match your operating preferences.
- Not available to S86 machines
- Not compatible with machines equipped with Bobcat Sense Detection Systems
Improved Power Management for Greater Attachment Performance
This enhancement improves coordination between the drive system and hydraulic system in large frame R-Series loaders, allowing the machine to better balance power demands when traveling and operating attachments simultaneously.
The result is more consistent attachment performance, improved machine responsiveness and greater productivity in demanding applications such as mulching, cold planing and trenching.
Enhanced Auxiliary Hydraulic Control with Super Flow
With this enhancement, R-Series loaders equipped with Super Flow can experience smooth, variable auxiliary flow control in both forward and reverse directions. Operators can fine-tune hydraulic flow to match the job and attachment, delivering smoother operation, more precise control and a more responsive machine feel.
This enhancement also adds variable reversing flow capability, allowing operators to clear materials from stalled attachments.
