TOP SNOW PUSHER PRO FEATURES
The Bobcat Snow Blade attachment (72") helps remove light to moderate snow from sidewalks, driveways and parking lots with a hydraulically operated blade you can configure using fingertip controls. With an overall 72" width, 42" length, and 590 lb operating weight, it’s built to push snow efficiently while still being manageable on a wide range of compatible Bobcat carriers.
HOW TO CHOOSE SNOW BLADES AND PUSHERS ATTACHMENTS
The best Bobcat® snow attachment depends on two things: how you want to move snow (push, windrow, scoop or cut through) and what you’re working on (tight sidewalks, big parking lots, uneven pavement or packed ice).
Start with your site and typical snowfall.
What's Your Jobsite?
Ask a few quick questions up front:
- Where are you clearing? Sidewalks/drive lanes vs. wide, open lots.
- What’s under the snow? Decorative concrete, pavers, asphalt, gravel, concrete.
- What’s the snow like? Light and fluffy, wet and heavy, or hard-packed and icy.
- Do you need to carry snow away or just push it aside?
- Are you working tight to curbs, walls and obstacles?
Choose the Right Attachment Type
- Scraper: Choose a scraper when the problem is stuck-on material: packed snow, ice, mud, or even interior demo work like carpet and floor tile removal. The self-sharpening cutting edge is designed to get under stubborn buildup and leave a smoother surface for walking or driving.
- Snow blade (straight blade): Pick a snow blade when you want to plow and windrow – angling snow left or right to keep moving. It’s a strong fit for driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots where you’re clearing paths and pushing snow off to the side. Look for features like adjustable depth shoes, a trip system for hidden obstacles and edge options (steel, rubber or poly).
- Snow V-blade: Go with a V-blade when you need maximum versatility in changing conditions – opening drifts, carrying snow or finishing with a straight pass. V-style blades let you switch positions from the seat (like V, scoop, angle left/right and straight), which is ideal for deep snow, long runs and areas where you’re constantly adjusting.
- Snow Pusher or Snow Pusher Pro: Choose a snow pusher when your priority is moving a lot of snow fast across large areas like parking lots and staging yards. Pushers are built to collect and hold snow with end wings and a wide box, helping you clear more per pass. For commercial-style performance and added features, step up to a snow pusher pro (box-and-plow capability in one attachment).
Match the Setup to Your Carrier
This category spans multiple carrier types, so confirm you’re shopping in the right lane:
- Loaders, Telehandlers, and Toolcat: full-size snow blades, V-blades, pushers and scraper options for high productivity.
- Utility vehicles (UTV): dedicated snowblade options (straight and V) sized for sidewalks, walkways and quick clearing.
- Articulating tractors: Straight or V-blade options that can also cross over into grading and light leveling in the off-season.
Dial In Surface Protection and Clean Finish
A “good clear” is about control as much as horsepower. Prioritize:
- Trip protection (trip edge or trip moldboard) for curbs, bumps and hidden obstructions.
- Shoes/skids for consistent height and reduced surface scuffing.
- Flotation/oscillation to stay in contact on uneven pavement and reduce gouging.
- Edge material choices (steel vs. rubber/poly) based on how sensitive the surface is and how clean you need the scrape.
Quick Checklist
- Primary goal: cut through/windrow/scoop/box-push
- Site type: tight sidewalks vs. wide lots
- Surface: asphalt, decorative concrete, pavers, gravel, indoor floors
- Snow conditions: light, wet-heavy, deep drifts, hard-pack/ice
- Needed controls: angle, multi-position V, oscillation/flotation
- Compatibility: carrier type, model fit, and required control kits/accessories
Once you’ve narrowed it down, your local Bobcat dealer can help confirm fit, edge options and setup so your snow blade, V-blade, pusher or scraper is ready before the next storm hits.
