How-To Video Tutorial for Maintaining Your Zero-Turn Mower

In this video, learn the recommended maintenance procedures for a Bobcat® zero-turn mower with step-by-step guided instructions. The Bobcat ZT7000 will be referenced, your mower may look a little different, but the procedures should be similar.

We will demonstrate how to change or replace engine oil and filter as recommended by the service schedules every 100 hours of operation or annually.

We will demonstrate how to go over signs that your air cleaner is dirty and needs to be replaced. Followed by how to replace the air cleaner filters. If you have a breather port, make sure it’s pointing down.  

TRANSAXLE MAINTENANCE - 06:30 

We will demonstrate how to do a deep dive into transaxle expansion tank types, including internal expansion tanks and external expansion tanks. We also walk-through proper maintenance of each type.  

TRANSAXLE PURGE - 14:30 

We will demonstrate how to look at purging the transaxle to remove air in the system.  

OPERATOR PRESENCE INTERLOCK SYSTEM - 16:24 

We will demonstrate how to review checking the Operator Presence Interlock System, running operation, and tire pressure.
