The HS8 features an 8-cubic-foot hopper with the spread pattern controlled by a hydraulic motor and three flow gates that spread material from 18 feet to 28 feet.
The hopper grate filters unwanted debris from the spread material.
The operator can use the hopper as a bucket, filling the spreader from a pile. Quickly and efficiently reload the spreading material into the hopper for big parking lot or road coverage jobs.
The sidewalk kit keeps material from being cast out of the bounds of the sidewalk; compresses spread pattern between 29 and 38 inches.
The hydraulically powered HS8 can quickly connect to approved tool carriers with the Bob-Tach® attachment mounting system. Its self-loading hopper has an open top and can be used as a bucket to efficiently fill the spreader from a pile rather than pour material into the top. With a hopper volume of 8 cubic feet and a spread pattern that is controlled by three material flow gates, operators can spread material from 18 to 28 feet.
Bobcat also offers two cargo box-mounted spreaders designed for Bobcat® utility vehicles and Toolcat™ utility work machines, the SP9 and SP13, respectively. These tough, stainless-steel units allow for consistent, controlled material spread pattern of up to 30 feet, and they feature dash-mounted controls that are convenient and easy to use. A large 13.5 cubic foot hopper allows operators to carry more material for larger spreading jobs.
