Published on August 17, 2026
- Bobcat has expanded its forestry offerings with a new factory-installed Land Management Package for the T86-2 compact track loader, designed for demanding land management and forestry applications.
- Built on Bobcat's most powerful compact track loader platform, the package combines enhanced protection, premium comfort features and attachment capability to maximize productivity in tough conditions.
WEST FARGO, N.D. (August 12, 2026) – Bobcat Company, a global equipment, innovation and worksite solutions brand, has expanded its forestry offerings with the factory-installed Land Management Package on the Bobcat T86-2 compact track loader. Designed for mulching, right-of-way maintenance, trail development, property improvement and land-clearing operations, the package combines specialized guarding, operator comfort features and performance enhancements to help customers tackle challenging jobsite conditions.
"Land management and forestry jobs demand equipment that can stand up to tough conditions," said Jeremy Harms, product manager, Bobcat Company. "This package gives customers a T86-2 that's factory-equipped with the features and protection needed for demanding land management applications, helping maximize productivity from day one."
Powered by the T86-2 Platform
The T86-2 is the largest and most powerful compact track loader in the Bobcat lineup, now delivering 115 horsepower, a 3,925-pound rated operating capacity and Super Flow hydraulics with up to 42 gallons per minute of hydraulic flow. With a 12-foot lift height and the capability to run demanding attachments such as drum mulchers and disc mulchers, the T86-2 is built for high-production work.
Available technologies, including Jobsite Companion, provide operators with additional tools to improve efficiency in the field.
The package can also simplify machine preparation for dealers by reducing the time and labor often associated with installing forestry-related accessories after production.
Designed for High-Demand Forestry Work
Forestry and land management work often require long operating hours in hot, debris-heavy environments. The T86-2's integrated cooling system is designed to support extended operation, while the Land Management Package adds factory-installed components intended to help protect key machine areas.
The package includes more than 10 factory-installed accessories designed to help shield key machine components from debris and jobsite hazards, including a land management door, polycarbonate rear and side windows, Level II FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure), exhaust debris guard, coupler guard, tailgate guard with integrated taillight guards, headlight guards, tubeline covers, air intake pre-cleaner, triple-flange rear idler and fire extinguisher.
Operator-Focused Features
The package also includes premium comfort features such as a high-back heated air ride seat, infotainment system, premium LED lighting and side lights, helping operators remain comfortable throughout long workdays.
Expanding Bobcat's Loader Evolution
Combined with the T86-2 platform, the package gives customers a machine tailored for land management work with the protection, comfort and attachment capability needed for demanding conditions.
The T86-2 Land Management Package is available through authorized Bobcat dealers.
