The Bobcat 4500 platform tractor features an enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning to provide all-weather comfort
WEST FARGO, N.D. (May 5, 2025) – Bobcat Company, a global equipment, innovation and worksite solutions brand, has expanded its compact tractor lineup with the introduction of its 4500 platform featuring two models, the CT4545 and CT4558.
Ideal for the agriculture and landscaping industries, as well as acreage management, the CT4545 and CT4558 are dependable machines for feeding livestock, clearing snow, handling materials, grading, backfilling and a multitude of other tasks.
With similar features and functionality to the Bobcat 4000 platform compact tractor models, the 4500 platform provides all-weather comfort with its fully enclosed, heated and air-conditioned cab.
“Rain or shine, operators will find exceptional comfort in the new CT4545 and CT4558,” said Kylle DeMars, product manager. “With the enclosed cab, the two new compact tractors are designed to make a hard day’s work as comfortable as possible. As with all our compact tractors, these models offer the power, maneuverability and versatility our customers rely on.”
Beyond offering protection from the elements, the cab helps to reduce noise levels and minimize vibrations thanks to rubber isolators between the tractor’s mainframe and cab. Operators can also expect clear, panoramic visibility made possible with large, glass panels and a rear implement window to the 3-point hitch.
Both the 45-horsepower CT4545 and 58-horsepower CT4558 are equipped with a cab-integrated joystick and a user-friendly hydrostatic transmission. This combination ensures effortless operation and allows for quick, simple direction changes. The hydrostatic transmission makes these tractors highly effective for frequent front-end loader work, mowing or maneuvering in wood areas while clearing brush.
In addition to the two new models, Bobcat is introducing a new front-end loader size with the FL9-2. With impressive lift capacity and height for exceptional productivity, the optional front-end loader is a must-have for digging, dirt moving, loading and carrying material.
Additional standard features on the new tractors that enhance operator productivity include:
- A simple twin-pedal design allows for quick and easy direction changes, with one pedal for forward movement and the other for reverse, making it an excellent choice for novice operators
- PTO cruise ensures a consistent speed – even as the tractor’s load conditions change.
- Draft control minimizes the need for manual intervention, reducing operator fatigue.
- Standard four-wheel drive provides power to all four wheels giving operators traction when needed
- Quick attach mounting system makes mounting attachments on the front-end loader simple
The 4500 platform tractors can be paired with dozens of attachments and implements to further extend their versatility. Key options include pallet forks, utility grapple, auger, angle blade, snowblower, tiller, bale spear and many more.
The CT4545 and CT4558 models will be available at Bobcat dealerships across North America in Q2 2025. Visit bobcat.com/dealer to find a local dealer.
