Cyberattack News & Resources

At Doosan Bobcat, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of the confidential and personal information of our employees, dealers, suppliers and customers.

Cyberattacks are one of the unfortunate realities of doing business in today’s high-tech world. We recently discovered a deliberate effort by an unauthorized party to access data on our systems. Upon discovery, we immediately launched a forensic investigation and took appropriate actions to reinforce our existing security measures to mitigate any potential impact. We also hired outside cybersecurity and information technology security experts to help us identify, control and remediate the breach. This effort is ongoing, and we have notified the relevant state and federal authorities.

We have confirmed the potential compromise of several servers and information related to employees, dealers, suppliers and customers may be involved. However, the assessment is ongoing, and we are taking all necessary steps to determine the full impact and reach of this intrusion.

Doosan Bobcat is in the process of notifying individuals who may be impacted by this incident. The notice explains what occurred, the information involved, the measures taken by the company to investigate and address the issue, how Doosan Bobcat is assisting, and protective measures impacted individuals can consider taking. The communication includes call center resources and information about enrolling in a personal information monitoring service that the company is providing.

While malicious cyber-criminal activity is increasingly common, Bobcat is strongly committed to protecting all confidential and propriety information and will remain diligent in these efforts. We will share more information as appropriate, and when it becomes available.
